Refocused and Ready: My First Painting for the Art Fair Submission

Today I did it—I refocused and created the first painting I’ll be submitting to the art fair. 🎨
After the fair organizers said, “don’t do flowers”, I realized I had to switch gears quickly. And now... the clock is ticking. There’s only about a month left to submit six original artworks, so I needed a new plan. Fast!💃
Looking to the Past for Inspiration
Instead of starting entirely from scratch, I went through my older work—and I found potential.
I’ve got three existing paintings that could fit into a cohesive series. I never sold them before because, honestly? I wasn’t ready to let them go. 😅 But now, I need something that feels unique, personal, and expressive—and these pieces still feel like “me.”

Building a New Art Series for Submission
So here's where I’m at:
✅ 3 completed paintings from past collections
🎯 1 new piece created today
🖼️ 3 more paintings left to make (and on bigger canvases!)
🕒 Deadline: About 1 month
The good news? I’m not short on ideas. The bad news? I’m definitely short on time. 😬
Still, I’m excited. This pivot might be the best thing that could’ve happened—it’s pushing me to dig deeper and showcase art that’s bold, personal, and full of heart.💖
Wish Me Luck!
I’m putting my all into this series and hoping the art jury (and the world!🌎) connects with it.
