“It is not good enough for things to be planned – they still have to be done; for the intention to become a reality, energy has to be launched into operation.” – Walt Kelly
This quote is exactly why I took a break to launch my art business in 2025 by having an extended holiday leave from work. 😜 I needed to pour my energy into launching my art business—something I’ve been dreaming about for years! I'm not being lazy this 2025... I’ve aligned so many stars to make this the year I finally go all in. ✨
Preparing to Launch My Art Business
I’ve read countless blog posts, watched tons of YouTube videos, and joined free art business trainings. Topics like:
How to start an art business
How to sell your paintings online
How to market your art on Instagram and Pinterest
How to connect with art collectors and buyers
What It Really Takes to Sell Art Online
There are so many steps to go from finished artwork to a happy collector:
Digitizing the artwork for online listings
Writing compelling art descriptions
Creating content for social media marketing
Connecting with art buyers online
Packaging, shipping, and customer follow-up
Whew. 😅🤣 It’s a lot! But I’m committed to the process.
The thing is, I thought I was just going to sell the art I made years ago. I have them brought here by my dad, but the more I research, the more I think these small art is not going to cut it. I need to go big.

Starting with a Painting Series
A lot of artists recommend working on a series to go deeper into a particular theme or style. So that’s what I’m going to do—explore a concept through multiple pieces to really develop my voice and make a strong visual impact.
Follow Along on My Art Journey
This is just the beginning. I’ll be sharing more about my creative process, behind-the-scenes studio life, and what it’s really like launching an independent art business in 2025.
